1904, Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to read the time in mid-flight. Thus was born one of the first wristwatches, sealing the friendship of two precursors. Its dial with rounded corners, its ties to the harmonious curve, its exposed screws sign an iconic watch that will be the subject of multiple reinterpretations.
