From the close partnership between the Swiss manufacture JEANRICHARD and the Italian brand MV Agusta was born the Chronoscope collection "Brutale".
While JEANRICHARD's watchmaking expertise is deeply rooted in the Swiss manufacturing tradition, its spirit is clearly influenced by Italian culture. Owned since 1988 by Luigi Macaluso, President of the Sowind Group, the brand is today managed by his youngest son, Massimo Macaluso. Both passionate about art and design, they have infused JEANRICHARD with that touch of originality that allows the brand to stand out with finesse and elegance among the most prestigious watch brands.
As for the MV Agusta brand, it is a true legend in the world of motorcycles. It has dominated the world competition for many years, winning 75 world championships. The 12 victories of MV Agusta in 1956, as well as the triumph of John Surtees in the world championship in the 500 cc category, consecrated MV Agusta at the international level. But it was in the 1970s that the brand reached its peak with its star rider, Giacomo Agostini, who dominated motorcycle racing for almost ten years in the 350cc and 500cc classes. Beyond this impressive record of achievement, the brand is best known for the refinement and aesthetics of its motorcycles, which are developed today at the CRC research center. It is also this same center that develops very exclusive models specially designed and produced in limited series.
Much more than style, it is the passion for precision engineering that brings JEANRICHARD and MV Agusta together. Both brands are fully committed to the development of heritage and know-how. In 2004, with the launch of its JR1000 caliber, JEANRICHARD joined the very closed club of watchmaking companies producing their own manufactured movements.
